PRECEPTS FOR "THE WAY"

One of the most important phrases that the Israelite prophets has pinned down all throughout Scripture from both a Positive and Negative aspect is THE WAY. This small two word phrase is one word in Hebrew (Darak) which means to tread, a road, journey, and figuratively represents a course of life or mode of action. As you meditate upon the verses below you will understand the what, why and end result for following or denying THE WAY.
Genesis 18:19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
Genesis 24:27 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren.
Exodus 18:20 And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.
Exodus 23:20 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
Exodus 32:8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
